Dr. Melissa Bartlett was born and raised in Central Indiana, where she developed her passion for caring for animals of all sizes including horses and cattle.
Dr. Daniel Doran was born and raised in Troy, NY and has always had a passion for animals and science. He attended Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY and graduated with a BS in Biology with a minor in Chemistry in 2017. In between undergrad and veterinary school, Dr.
Dr. J is our part-time veterinarian. She has undergraduate degrees from MIT and after getting her DVM from Purdue University, completed a one year internship in medicine and surgery. She has two young cats, Tito and Charlie.
Dr. Medcraft is a part-time veterinarian here at Best Pets. A native of the Midwest, he pursued his interests in science and animals by obtaining B.S. and M.S. degrees in Biology followed by his D.V.M. degree from Purdue University.
Erica is our Head Technician supervising, training, and overseeing our enthusiastic and committed staff. She has a BA in Sociology from Suffolk University and received her AS in Veterinary Technology from Mount Ida College in 2015 and has since been a CVT for all her career.
Kelsey is a graduate of Salem State University with a BS in Marine Biology. She has loved animals all her life, but has spent most of her time with cats. She came to Best Pets from a receptionist position at an emergency clinic and also has experience in other customer service positions.
Sam has been working in the animal services field since 2010 and has three years experience in Veterinary Client Services. She absolutely loves working with animals and further expanded her knowledge by graduating from North Shore Community College with an Associates in Animal Science in 2014.
Mia joined our team while still finishing her degree in veterinary technology at UMass Amherst, Mount Ida Campus. She rescued a beagle named Max who is a retired research beagle. Mia enjoys working with all animals and treating them with as much love as their owners would.
