Certified Veterinary Technician
As a child, Olivia watched her family dog struggle with kidney disease and wished she could do more to help. That experience sparked her determination to pursue veterinary medicine so she could ensure other animals receive the care they need.
Olivia has been a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) since 2010 and earned her Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology from Vermont Technical College. Over the years, she has had the opportunity to work in both small and large animal medicine, which has given her a broad range of experience and a deep appreciation for all kinds of patients. Olivia is always looking to grow in the field, and one of her current goals is to learn more about ultrasound to expand her skills and better care for her patients.
Olivia lived in Kentucky for a time, where she worked at an equine practice treating horses and had the incredible opportunity to serve as a veterinary technician for the Budweiser Clydesdales. While in Kentucky, she also worked as a trail guide, allowing her to combine her love for animals and the outdoors.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her significant other and their two cats, Meeko and Valentine. In her free time, you’ll usually find her reading, watching scary movies, or enjoying tours of local breweries. A fun fact about Olivia—she grew up competitively figure skating, which taught her the discipline and focus she still carries with her in her career today.
