Elaina

Elaina has been a dedicated member of the veterinary field since 2018. She began her career in shelter medicine, where she discovered her passion for advocating for animals who cannot speak for themselves. Inspired by her own medically complex pets growing up—and wishing she could have done more for them—she entered veterinary medicine as soon as she was able, determined to help advance both patient care and medical knowledge.

Currently, Elaina is pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science at the University of Maine. Her commitment to continual learning and compassionate care makes her a valued part of our team.

At home, Elaina is happily outnumbered by her four cats: Zuko, Indie, Simba, and Raja. Outside of veterinary medicine, Elaina is also a dance teacher. Teaching allows her to share her love of music and the arts with the next generation of dancers. A fun fact about Elaina: as a child, she refused to choose a favorite color because she didn’t want the other colors to feel left out. She also has a special fondness for Holstein cows!
